Fusion Middleware Support Engineer(Korean Speaking)

Location: Dalian

Description:

1. Owning and resolving problems and managing customer expectations throughout the Service Request lifecycle in accordance with Oracle global support standards
2. Maintaining product expertise in assigned product cluster
3. Working towards, adopting, and contributing to new processes and tools
4. Contributing to knowledge management content creation and maintenance
5. Participating in Root Cause Analysis defined within a products cluster
6. Working with second line engineers(grids) to solve customer¡¯s service request
7. Operating within Oracle business processes and procedures
8. First line phone call support for Korean customers

Competencies:

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
1. Degree in Computer science. Minimum 2-3 years experience.
2. Understanding of Application Server and underlying technologies
3. Basic understanding of Oracle RDBMS and SQL /PL-SQL and O/S such as Unix/Linux and Windows
4. Written and spoken English and Korean required.
5. Highly analytical and articulate individual who will provide high quality technical phone and electronic support
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
8. Preference for working in a global cooperative team environment.
9. Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new technology quickly

Essential knowledge & experience
1. Good understanding of Application Server concepts and technologies (Apache, Websphere, Jboss, Weblogic)
2. Good understanding of the underlying internet technologies (HTTP, TCP/IP, etc)
3. Knowledgeable about various operating systems (Unix, Windows, etc.)
4. Java programming skills like JSP, j2EE, Web Service and EJB
5. Knowledge of HTML, XML

Desirable knowledge
Oracle product knowledge for
1. Internet Application Server
2. RDBMS (basic) and SQL/PLSQL
